- There was a man and he went out hunting and he caught a fox. He gave a blow of a fork to him, and he pretended to be dead. So the man threw the fox into a bag and he threw the bag into the barn. There were eight clocking hens in the barn. In the night-time the fox crept out of the bag and ate the clocking hens and the eggs. Next day, the man brought another man to show him the fox. When he opened the door the fox ran out between his legs and got away.
