- There is a house in Petersville, Moynalty, Co. Meath where there was a priest killed, and the house was owned by Tuckers. This man wanted to catch the priest and he went to bed in his home and said to send for the priest, and if he was dead when the priest would come he would be killed. The priest came and just as he was coming the man died, and the priest was killed, and there is a blood stain on the wall to this day.
There is a rock in Killinkere, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, where priests used to say mass in the Penal times. At this place there were two rocks, on one of them there was an alter. They were in a valley where soldiers(continues on next page)- Collector
