  1. Long years ago the people were going to be married wouuld go on sidecars, and an old shoe was tied to it for luck. The people would come long journeys to cheer the bride, and bridegroom, and to run for the brides bottle of whiskey.
    The boys around the place would put a hay rope on one foot, and a straw one on the other. Then they would dance the hay-foot-straw-foot dance, and the best dancer would get to
