    The Autum now is far advanced and shorter grows the day

    When the time for fodder comes,

    Spandaw is now so famous we will make of it a town,
    And build as many houses there as Dyas he pulled down,
    We will not fear the police then,
    For they must go away,
    Not having any business there
    When Harry draws the hay.
