- There is an old ruined castle in Robertstown, known as Robertstown Castle.
It was a very big castle at one time, but now there is only about half of it to be seen.
There are four apartments on the ground floor and three up-stairs. There is a room in it where men used to be hanged.
There was also a trap for killing people in it; if a person put his foot on the trap he pulled into the ground and he would never get up again. There used to be little windows in the castles in olden times because there were no banks to keep(continues on next page)- Collector
