  1. There are some picturesque ruins in this locality. One of these is an old chapel called Cruicetown church. It is situated between Kilbeg parish and the parish of Nobber.
    In olden days it was a finely built chapel but today there remains only its crumbling walls.
    A few years ago the antiquarians cemented the tops of its walls so as to prevent them from falling away.
    When the church became too old for Mass to be celebrated within its walls it was turned into a cemetery and at present
