    the money, and it was kept in the castles and the little windows were on the castles to prevent robbers from robbing the owner. The stairs and loft are made of stone and everything in it is made of stone except the door. At one time this castle was covered with ivy but it has been cut down recently. It was repaired by the antiquarians some years ago. It belonged to the landlord of Robertstown until 1923 then it was taken over the the antiquarians. It is not really known who built this castle. The last man that was known to owe it was Gudders.
