Our Ladys Thistle is said to be the cure of the whooping cough. It is prepared by boiling the leaves in new milk and giving it to the person to drink.
The story is told of this plant that when Our Lady was nursing the baby Jesus one day, some of the milk fell on the leaves which still show the traces of the milk.
marshmallows boiled and pounded are said to cure pains, sprains and swellings.
Dandelion leaves, boiled are a great blood purifier and are also said to be good for people suffering from heart disease.
