    "Have it of your own or do without it."
    A man saved his month's wages and having a day off, he was going to town. He had not made up his mind whether he would have a good day or put his money in the bank. As he was passing Drumran he heard a blackbird whistling and he thought the blackbird was saying "Spend and God will send." He went out to Ardee, spent all his money in having a good day. On the next morning when he got up he had a very sore head. He went out to hear what the blackbird had to say, but he was saying.
    "Have it of your own or do without it."
