- People make crosses on the first of February: the feast of St. Bridget. Sometimes people make crosses of rushes. The crosses are about 6 ins long and about 3 ins across. They were made by the old people long ago. A white thorn bush decorated with flowers is put in front of the house on May eve, in honour of our Blessed Lady.
