    he thought it was quenched he went away. A little robin saw what the bear did and he flew down to see was the fire out and as he was there he spied a little spark and he fanned it with his wings and it grew bigger and bigger until his at last it flamed up but it burnt his breast and that is how the Robin got his red breast. The birds have their own speech. They are able to understand each other. The mother birds are able to warn the young birds with a peculiar way. They are heard to say "be quick be quick" as a warning.
