    "See a pin and pass it by,
    You'll want a pin before you die."

    Rat
    It is unlucky if a rat crossed your path.
    It is a sign you have and enemy, to meet a rat.
    If a rat comes in to the house and looks
    round 'tis a sign of a death.

    Cock
    If a cock crows in the door you will have a visitor or stranger to the house during the day.
    If he crows after a shower the evening will be fine.
    If heard crowing in the middle of night
