built in bungalow style. A quarter of a mile from the village in a South easterly direction is situated a pretty chapel and school.
Finea is a very historical place and the people in the district are very proud of a great defeat which was inflicted on the English Scottish armies in 1646. Myles O'Reilly was in charge of the Irish Army and in the main street a monument is erected in his memory. There is a ballad commemorating this great victory and there is also a lyric poem written about the " Flower of Finea ".
