    To find water in the hole of a tree when not looking for it this water will cure a wart.
    Elderberries rubbed to a wart will cure it.

    SORE EYES
    Boiled new milk is a good cure for sore eyes.
    Cold tea is also a cure for sore eyes. Ointment is made from certain herbs is an excellent cure for the eyes. Mrs Daly Clonmellon makes the ointment.

    CURES FOR SORE CHEST
    A good rubbing to the chest with turpintine.
    If brown paper is greased with candle grease and then put on the chest for a night this will cure the chest.

    CURES FOR COLD
    Burned whiskey and rum will cure a bad cold.
    Take buttermilk gruel before going to bed at night.
    A mixture of linseed tea, whiskey and the juice of a lemon will cure a bad cold if taken regularly.
