    CURES FOR THE COUGH
    Garlic boilt in new-milk will cure any ordinary cough.
    Milk that a ferret leaves after him is a cure for the whooping cough.
    To tie a red string around a child's neck this will cure the chin cough.
    To pass under an asse's stomach three times will also cure the chin cough.

    STINGS
    A dock leaf will cure the sting of a nettle, if you pull a dock leaf and apply it to the sting and say while doing so "docken" "docken" cure the sting of a nettle.
    When you get a sting from a bee if you cover it over it with blue this will cure the sting.

    HEADACHES
    Brown paper dipped in vinegar is a cure for a headache.
    To tie a silk cloth tightly around your hedd will also cure a headache.
    To wash your face in the dew of the grass is a good cure for a pain in your head.
