The old people say that this stands for "Arch Angel".On your way to Delvin you pass a monument known by the name of "Smiling Bess". The figure is the head of a woman.In Michael Briody's field in Killallon is erected a white stone cross about one foot high. People say that priests used to say Mass here during the penal days.
