- Thomas Byrne, Grangemore, Raharney got the cure of the burn from his mother before she died, He gets buttercup leaves, cuts them up very finely and fries them in lard. When fried they are like green jelly. This jelly is rubbed to the burn and cures it.
John Mc Keogh, Borbestown, Raharney has the cure of the burn. He licks the burn and then it is cured.
