    Landlords were very cruel and harsh to there tenants long ago.
    The great grandfather Patrick Jessop was evicted from Andrew Gavigans house by Captain Pilkington.
    Captain Pilkington was a landlord in Tore, He owned all the land for hundreds of miles each side. Old Buck Payne was a landlord in Ballynuku. Lord Kilmain lived between here and Mullingar. He summoned a great deal of people for poaching. The
