  2. Accidents in the districts
    This year Agust 1938 a woman named Mrs Roche was brutally killed by a cow.
    One morning she went down very early to see a young cow that was to calve when the other cow attacked her and tore her arm and leg.
    She was found by men who were working in a field. She lived for a few hours after being found. She was attended to by the priest and doctor.
    On the same day there was an accident in Killavalley
