The priest did not like David as he considered him a prophet almost, and one Sunday morning he saw David standing at the chapel gate and asked him why he didn't go to Mass. The man told him that if he did not go in soon he would not have Mass said before the soldiers would come. It was during the Penal Days that this happened and before the priest had Mass said the soldiers arrived and shot the priest. Mass was never said there afterwards because the church was partially burned about one hundred and twenty years ago.
