    "brislán" will cure a pain in your back if you get one and wash it and boil it. Then strain off the water and drink it.
    Dandelions were often used as a blood purifier. Garlic was used as a cure for animals as well as people. If an animal had a pain, garlic was boiled with milk, then the milk was given to the animal. Young nettles boiled are said to cure a sick stomach,
    Near Croghan there live people named Gilligans who mix certain herbs which can cure cancer. But they keep the name of the herbs a secret.
