- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)People that explored it said that the cave leads from the moat to the fort. There is a fort in Lynam's field and it is called a fairy fort. All around the fort, there are heaps of bushes growing. It is said that the faries lived there long ago. The owners of those forts never interfere with them. I know of people that interfered with forts and nothing happened them. It is said that if you cut a bush in a fort you will have bad luck the whole year.
- In Adamstown at the back of Martin Neills house there is a fort circled with clay and stones. The ruins of an old Chapel are in the middle of the fort. It is said Colm Cill said mass there. In Mr Casey's field there is a fort called Rath Drishóg. It is a big hill circled with rocks. The townland still bears the name Rath Drishóg. In Jack Pigots field, Killeen, there is a high fort surrounded with banks. In the middle of it the fairies tached their little houses with feathers.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
