But the grandest of sights that you ever did see,
Are the the homes of the poor in Castletown-G
Kilbeggan has many a ready recruit,
Father Quinn from Killucan counts many,
Mullingar has a brilliant young leader in Tute,
    And Castletown Geoghegan has Kenny,
A hero well known from Athboy to Athlone,
Who is honoured by soldiers and seamen,
    For his valorous deeds.
    When to battle he leads,
    The conquering Castletown - G - Men.
    III
    And out from beneath,
    The flag of Westmeath
Fighting on to be happy and freemen,
    For we hear ringing out,
    The heart ringing shout,
Of the conquering Castletown - G - Men.
