    Boys play games different from those practised by girls. They play Sea-Saw, Swing, Spinning Tops, Blind Man's Buff, Cat and Dog, Marbles, Skittles, Football, Rugby, Bat and Ball, and Rounders. All those game are played outdoors. The games they play indoors are 'Yo-Yo, Draughts, Darts and Rings. During the Winter when it is snowing boys spend their time making cribs with elder sticks and sally rods to catch birds.
    Spinning-top is played by winding a cord round the top tightly. Then throw it about two yards away from you and the stronger you pull the cord, the faster the top spins.
    Blind Man's Buff is played by tying a handkerchief or rag round one child's eyes and the other children gather in a ring round him teasing him and whoever he catches has to be the Blind Man.
    Cat and Dog is played with a long stick and a short one. The short stick is placed on a stone and struck off it with the long one. Skittles is played by making
