- The tinkers and gypsies were in excistance always. Some of the tinkers travel in bands, others in family. The tinkers have their own customs as well as every body else and they arrange to meet once a year at various towns which they frequent from time to time. This is an old custom of theirs which they carry out. At this meeting they discuss amongst themselves of their trils and hardships during the year. The are very loyal to each other. This of course through marriage relationships and one helps out the other as best they can. Nearly all the men are tin(continues on next page)
