  1. 43. St Keyon: Holy well on side of Knockeyon = Hill and well called after this saint.
    No pilgrimages made to this well at present, but formerly, pilgrimage was made there each year on 1st August:

    45. St Patrick was supposed to have passed thro Turin on way to Cavan, when destroying idol Crom Cruach. St Colmcille and St Finian were supposed to have started quarrel about book and its copy at Clonard - about 9 miles from Turin.
    47. St Brigid's Eve: A cross is put up in each western house - cross made of light white stick - about 3' long - and attached to rafters in Kitchen.
