    priest lost his life at this rock, now called the "Mass Rock" not on the "Mass paths", while being pursued by Cromwell's [?].
    In Multyfarnham Friary 10 miles distant, however, the friars were arrested and shot while the Friary was going up in flames.
    Now, thank God all that is over. A new Friary was built in Multyfarnham by Catholic money and labour and a new Church built in Turin in 1829 by Catholic hands.
