    Roast potatoes place in a woolen stocking and put round the neck is a cure for a sore throat.
    A cure for herpus ( a sore on the lip ) is to rub a fasting spit on it three times for three mornings.
    If any menber of a family meets a man with a white horse, he will be able to give him or her the cure for the chin cough if any relative is suffering from it. He
