  1. There are no local industries aroud the village now.
    Some years ago there were two Coopers and a coachbuilder.
    The coopers were busy making butter tubs churns and wash tubs. The butter tubs were made of ash and with sally hoops; churns and washtubs had iron hoops.
    The coachbuilders were busy making all kinds of traps and coaches for driving.
    All the houses were thatched with straw long ago (with straw) which was replaced every seven or eight years. First he
