  1. There are some ancient wells around here and one of them is Tobber Neddie or the well of Neddie.
    It is situated in the middle of a big field owned by the Meehan family. It is said that it is enchanted. When Saint Fintan was hiding from the soldiers he washed his feet in it.
    About twenty years ago it started flooding the land and Mr Meehan of Rath brought loads of stones to close it in.
