When we play "high-gates" all the children stand in a row and one stands out and recites "I lost a letter last night and Molly Thompson (or any other name) found it. Mollie runs out and tries to catch the caller who runs in and out among the other players. These join hands and sometimes they hold their hands high which are the high-gates and low which are the "low-gates" and you cannot run into the same gate twice. - You are not logged in, but you are welcome to contribute a transcription anonymously.
