   midges are a sign of bad weather to see a "clock " crossing the road is a sign of rain. When the smoke goes straight up in the air from the chimney is a sign of fine weather. A rainbow is a sign of plenty of rain. When the Dublin red is up in the mornings, it is a sign we are going to have rain before evening. When the swallows are flying low, it is a sign of rain and when they are flying high it is a sign of fine weather.

   There are a lot of ruins of stones in this village where people were buried in ancient times.
   In this village, there are many historic places.
   There is a stone in a field near our home which is called cloc-stocáigh. Old people tell us that a giant was buried there about a century ago. In our field, there is a big rock
