    8)Whooping cough: If the person that hs the whooping cough drinks the leavings of a ferret it will cure him.
    9)Corn: Put the juice of a house-leek on the corn every night until the corn disappears.
    10) Toothache: If the person who has the toothache gets a drop of water out of the little hole that is over a priests headstone and puts it on the tooth, it will cure it.
    11) Consumption: Boil a dandelion and give the juice of it to the person who has the consumption and it will cure him.
    12) Hiccough: If you get a hiccough, swallow your spit three times without drawing your breath, the hiccough will go.
    13) Pain in your side: If you get a pain in your side, take up a stoneand put your spit on the stone and turn the side the spit is on towards the road, the pain will go.
    14) If you get a thorn: If you get a thorn in your foot, put a fox's tongue to it and it will draw the thorn.
