- Once upon a time a young boy caught a bird in a crib. He brought it in. His father said it was a cock blackbird and his Mother said it was a Thrush. They started to argue about it, and at last it turned into a fight. After a while they said they were foolish to be fighting over a bird. On the very same date on the following year the woman said to her husband "This day last year we're fighting over a bird" I said it was a Thrush and you said it was a cock Blackbird. "I was right" said the husband and the fight started again. On the very same date on the following year the fight started again. This continued for years on the anniversary of the first row.
