  2. There are many old cures in this District of Hall, Moate, which they old people had and believed in.
    1. One is a cure for warts. "Black Snails" a famous one. The first thing they would do is to get a black snail and rub it on them. There is also a weed called "Wart Weed" but that is not the real name. It is a root and it grows in any kind of land, it has a juice inside like milk in which is the cure.
    2. There is also a cure for burns which they made from primroses mixed with grease or
