    the road. The nuns went from that to Athlone and from that to Galway. It is that when they were going they brought a statue of the Blessed Virgin with them.
    These nuns were in the order of Saint Clare. When the soldiers were going back to Athlone Dillon rang a big bell and collected all the people of the district and they killed every one of the soldiers except one man that escaped.
