  1. Long ago when people would be getting married some of them would get married in their own houses and more would go to the chapel. At that time some of the people used to go on a horse and cart and more go walking.
There are certain months and days thought unlucky to get married. The months are May and August, the days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
After the marriage they go to some town to have breakfast, and some would stay for a couple of days away. They generally come home on a Friday, as it is thought a lucky day.
On the night of the day the men around dress up in old clothes and go to the house. The people of the house give them refreshments. The men stay for a couple of hours, and then they go home.
