  1. Some boys amuse themselves by making home made snares. The way they make them is, they get three pieces of narrow wire and plat them together, then they get a cord and stick and tie one end of the cord to the stick and the other end to the wire. Then they make a loop on the other end of the wire and get another piece of a stick and stick it down into the ground and catch the wire on the top of it, Then stick the other stick down in the ground, and the rabbit will catch his neck in the loop, and the stick that is holding up the wire will slip and the rabbit will be caught.
