- Long ago young boys used to have great sport catching birds. A trap called Cipin a Gala was used to trap them. Here is the way the trap was made. A sally was got and then the two ends of it were driven down into the ground. After that another one was got and put standing on the bent one. Then a basket was leaned over against the standing sally. When the bird would light on the bent sally it would fall on the bird and catch her.
