- In the townsland of Killininny parish of Drumraney there is a field owned by Edward Allen, and there is a fairy fort in it. The fort is a round raised piece of land with trees growing on it. There are four little mounds around this fort.Convenient to this fort there is a rock. It is said that in olden times a giant in Moyvoughly had a dispute about something with another giant who lived in Killininny while they were discussing the matter the giant living in Moyvoughly lifted a rock and with one throw he left it on Carrick-an-eagh. If you were on the top of this rock you could see as far as County Cavan and County Roscommon. This big rock is about thirty ton weight, just the same weight as Aill-na-Meeran the rock that is on top of Uisneach hill.
