In the townsland of Ardnagrath parish of Drumraney there is a fairy fort situated in Mr Conlon's field. Each night at twelve o'clock the fairies used start at the fort on horseback and they had hounds. They used journey along the fields until they came to Fermore bog a journey of a mile. It is supposed that the fairies were hunting something but nothing could be seen. The hounds were barking the whole time. When the fairies came to the bog they disappeared.
