The name of the townsland I live in is Bryanmore. It is in the parish of Drumraney, and barony of Kilkenny West. The name Allen is the most common name in the townsland. There are twelve families living in this townsland. The approximate number of people living in the townsland is about forty. Mostly every house in the townsland is thatched. There are three old people living in this townsland each over eighty. They are Bridget Daily, Mrs Connorton, and Mrs Allen each has the same address, Bryanmore, Walderstown, Athlone, None of them know Irish, they never heard it spoken.
