    keep it to it as hot as possible
    Burn: The cure for a burn on your hand is to hold it as tight to the fire as you can few minutes.
    Rheumatism: Get some cabbage leaves & boil until quite yellow with a quantity of soda & bathe the affected parts with the green water as hot as possible. The same water may be used several times.
    Peuralgia: Get up early in the morning & go to a running stream, have a towel with you. Get down to the stream take off all the clothes of the upper part of your body and wash head and neck with your hands for about ten minutes.
    Then rub with towel for that much more and walk home.
