    have to go out & have the tig.
    How High Gates is played is all the children get into a ring and one goes round the ring saying "A bit of fat a bit of lean a bit of an old cow's tail" then she picks someone to have the tig & if the one that gives it out gets into the ring the other gives it out again.
    How Ghost in the Well is played is all the children go out to pick potatoes & one stays at home to boil the dinner & when it is done she calls them to it & when they come she will tell them to go to the well & wash their hands & there will be a ghost in the well who will put them away & the mother will then go & she will ask the ghost what he is doing there & he will say. "I am looking for my Granny's needle, to sew bags, to carry sand, to sharpen knives, to cut all your throats if I catch ye" then he will follow them & cut all their throats
    How tig is played is all the children
