- My father has four cows and eight bullocks and four calfs and twenty-three sheep and a horse and pony and a pig. When we are calling the cows we say "Prig Cailin" and they come. When we are calling the calves we say "Suck Suck, Suck" and they come. The big ones come for the same name. When we are calling the horses to put them in in Winter we say "Peogh' Bobbys" and they come. When we are calling the sheep to the mangolds in Spring we say "Seap Seap, Seap," and they come.
The four cow's names are "Black Bess", "Ann", "Molly" and "Polly" cow. The horses names are "Bobby Brown", and "Polly" The cow house in which the cows are tied is called a byre. There are three stakes(continues on next page)- Collector
