The parts of the churn are the dash, Joggler, lid, and Butter Spades. There is a mark on the churn to put on the lid straight. Butter is made every week in Winter and it is made twice a week in the Summer. The person who is house keeping does the churning. Strangers come in during the churning to help them churn and then will get some butter. It takes a half an hour to churn. The dash churn is done with the hand and the turn
