    Long ago there used to be a great many football matche's played around here between the ' Harper's and the Derrymore's.
    There were a great many men on the Moydow team such as - John Finnan, Pat Lenehan, John Madden, Mike Finnan, James Dowd, and Ned Egan.
    The Football match was played about fifty years ago.
    It was played in a field belonging to Mr Mc Cann. The Harper's used to wear green and yellow and the Derrymore's used to wear black and yellow.
