    leipreachán told him to stick a piece of a stick down in the ground where he stood and to come there before sunrise next morning and he would find the pot of gold. The man did as he was told but when he came next morning to his great surprise he found the whole field covered with sticks so he did not know which stick to look under. So he went home very dissatisfied and angry.
