- In the Townland of Clonfour there is a well which is named after the saint who visited that place - St Barry.
The first mysterious occurance of this well is that a woman once took her clothes down off a line and washed them in it. Before she was finished the well dissappeared and reappeared about five yards from where it was at first.
Then there started a pilgrimage and it is still carried on and everybody leaves a stone beside it and are lately whitewashed by the owner of the field a Mr. Gannon.- Collector
