    The swallows leaves this country and goes away to a foreign land in the Winter, She builds her nest of mud in a house.
    The Seagull.
    The seagull builds her nest along a river or a lake, she is a very big bird.
    The Blackbird.
    The blackbird is a fairly sized bird she builds her nest in a low bush and she lays four eggs and brings the young birds out. The eggs are spotted.
    The Corncrake.
    The Corncrake builds her nest in a meadow. She lays seven eggs and she is one of the seven sleepers and is a very small bird.
    I heard these from John Morgan, Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Co. Longford.
